How did you decide on that band name? The meaning of “sliver” is literally “fragment”or”to tear”. There are two reasons we decided on that band name; First, we had the spiny impression in the word and sound of “sliver”. We thought it fit for the band that performs the violent tunes. We wanna “hurt” those who “touch” sliver by our tunes. Second, we are like fragments. Our backgrounds (favorite musicians, personality etc.) are totally different. ©Highfeel An outstanding musician and artist has passed away. Shota of duo ADAMS, passed away due to a severe brain stroke on November 30th, 2015. This news has shocked many fans from all over the world, and we truly can't believe it. It happened at their show in Warsaw on the 28th of November, where Shota suffered a brain stroke and was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, 36 hours later he passed away. This news has completely taken everyone by surprise, and it is truly a sad ending to this month of November, 2015. Summon the Roses would like to thank Aurelie Vandecasteele for allowing us to conduct our interview with ADAMS earlier this year. We are honored for the opportunity we received of interviewing such an amazing musician before he left us early in life.
