Could you introduce yourselves to the readers of Summon the Roses?

Can you give us a short explanation of your musical concept?

Heavy and aggressive melody by 7-string guitars, a 5-string bass with clean tone voices.
At the bottom of our music, we have one concept "the one giving the seeked truth. "

How did you come up with your band name Insomnia?
Insomnia generally means a sleep disorder in which there is an inability to fall asleep or to stay asleep as long as desired. However, in our case, Somnus in Roman mythology is the derivation of iNSOMNiA. Our consciousness in Somnus is iNSOMNiA.

How did you all come together to form Insomnia?
Formed by mainly Rai and Aoya (NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST roadies).
Ameno, Aoya, Yua, and Rai, all 4 was going separate ways, separate bands, but fatefully we got together and formed iNSOMNiA. Additionally, we knew Rai, a main composer , has a great enthusiasm toward composing songs, so we wanted to make a stage for him to show his songs.

In October you will be releasing a single, can you tell us a little about this?

What about your image concept? Do you work on your own costume designs?
Feelings of lapse of virtues and coldness like absolute zero.

What message are you trying to give to your fans through your music?
Our music is very heavy and fierce, but you will soon notice a delicate sound.

Can you tell us a unique detail of each band member?
Each member looks like they are always in a smug face. That is not true; we smile a lot :D

Who has inspired you in your music career?
Ameno:黒夢,SuG,蜉蝣,cali≠gari,L'Arc～en～Ciel
Aoya:High and Mighty Color, Nocturnal Bloodlust
Yua:T.M.Revolution、abingdon boys school
Rai:Janne Da Arc,DELUHI,摩天楼オペラ,NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST

Where do you find inspiration when composing music?
Rai:In this world, there are some sorts of spiritual concepts such as Anima Mundi, Akashic Records and so forth. I scoop up a flow of these concepts and compose music.

Do you have any plans of performing overseas in a near future?
Sooner or later!

Could you see yourself doing something else other than music?
No, what we want to do is music. Music is the only answer we can tell.

What are your goals with Insomnia?
Would say there is no goal because a hurdle will lead a higher hurdle. This process will never end. We are always trying to get over a higher hurdle.

Do you have a message for your fans?
Ameno: Never look away from me and follow me!
Aoya: Our movement has just begun. Dont miss our activities.
Yua: We are iNSOMNiA.
Rai: Buchikamasu!!

I play guitar, write songs and propose various ideas too (laughs). Inori: I am Inori, the resident of darkness. How would you describe Glamscure’s world? Does each member represent something in particular? Harui: Dramatic and romantic. Chaos: Glamscure’s world is usually moody and dark but also brings back the good catchy melodies of the past. How would you describe La'veil MizeriA’s world? How do you want to impress your audience? Kikyo: It's a world of sorrow and madness, made of cruel stories. What is the meaning behind your band name? How did you decide on that band name? Kikyo: It represents the things we want to express and our world. Your album, “Jakumetsu Kyouen”, was release last June.
